Caroline joined the firm in 2004 and has worked in the accounting profession for over 10 years. She works with the business advisory and accounting services team at Matthews Cutrer & Lindsay, PA. She provides our clients with outsourced accounting and business process solutions. Her duties include: general ledger maintenance, banking and credit card reconciliations, payroll, accounts payable, cash flow planning and monitoring. Since joining MCL she has enjoyed customizing accounting functions and business reporting for different business types and has expertise with restaurants, law firms and real estate. She is a Certified QuickBooks Advisor and helps configure, implement and support cloud computing applications for our accounting services clients.
Caroline earned her Bachelors of Business Administration in Accounting from Mississippi College. She enjoys attending concerts, movies and plays with her teenage daughters. Reading on her Nook and Bible study are relaxing activities for her. She has been active in her church and has taught Sunday school and children’s choir.
1. Choose a pillowcase. Those with decorative edges are very pretty.
2. Cut a strip about four inches wide off the top. If you need a longer sash for an older child, cut two narrower strips and sew together. This will make a longer sash.
3. Cut a square with the hemmed side at the bottom the suitable length and widget for the age of the child.
4. Hem the sides of the square.
5. Iron edges of strip down approximately ¼ inch on each side.
6. Fold strip in half, iron and open back up.
7. Pin square to middle of one side of strip and sew
8. Refold strip and sew together making the tie for the waste.
You can embroider on these or sew or iron on an appliqué.
This is cute to give with a child’s cookbook and/or measuring cups, etc.
